I’m a Master of Mathematics (thesis) student in Computer Science at the University of Waterloo, advised by Dr. Raouf Boutaba. My work sits at the intersection of systems, networks, and applied machine learning — currently focused on terrestrial–non-terrestrial 5G integration and cross-layer optimization.

Before Waterloo, I earned a BSc in Computer Science with High Distinction from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), and spent a summer at Stanford University studying machine learning and technology entrepreneurship. Along the way I’ve worked in Singapore at AICET, building SoftMark, a digital grading platform deployed at NUS and across high schools in Singpaore, undertaken research at the intersection of LLMs and systems, notably benchmarking an LLM response-caching architecture, and led a new product’s development as a software engineer at a fast-paced startup, GreatFrontEnd.

I’m broadly interested in how large language models reshape software engineering, networked systems, and the way we build things. I write about these ideas, and review papers I find interesting (or provocative), on my blog. Take a look at my CV for the full picture, and feel free to reach out.
